This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planning speed and collision regulations.

Costs include RYA Start Powerboating book, use of waterproofs if necessary. Courses are non-residential so accommodation is required in one of the many hotels or guest houses near the Centre. We can provide a list of recommendations.
