Our practical courses run all the year round from our big, sheltered, natural harbour. We provide all wet weather gear & safety equipment and provide you with a suggested list of what to bring.

The price of the course is VAT inclusive and covers fuel, mooring fees & food provided onboard. Make sure you tell us in advance if you have any special food requirements. For the practical sail courses you will live on board the yacht, stop off in various ports to explore ashore & sleep on the boat. A 7-day trip will try to include a Channel crossing, 5-day trips usually stay on the UK coast, they all involve sailing overnight if possible – working watches with your fellow crew.

Students are only asked to bring spending money for the odd meal onshore & “beer money” for when we call into a new port for the night.

Your instructor on the course will create an environment, which is safe, professional & friendly, recognising that a course with us should be remembered & recommended as an enjoyable experience.
