The MCA Approved 1-day Fire Fighting course is a very useful, cost effective and more appropriate alternative course to the STCW Basic Fire Fighting which is a requirement on vessels over 24m.
This course provides a more suitable level of fire fighting for vessels which predominately use fire extinguishers and fixed engine room fire systems instead of breathing apparatus sets. SeaRegs (our parent company) has developed the course to include elements of offshore fire fighting appliance requirements and compliance. It includes using fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
